Force director Nishikant Kamat and producer Vipul Shah have already planned a sequel of the action flick and if all goes well the Salaam-E-Ishq pair of John Abraham and Vidya Balan will come together for the second time
At last lady luck has smiled on brawny John Abraham. His action film
Force has got his name off the list of flop actors. The
maar dhaad and lovey dovey moments with Genelia D’Souza are finally doing wonders to his filmograph. And the film’s producer Vipul Shah and director Nishikant Kamat are super excited with the initial response and have made bigger plans for
Force. Apparently during the making of the action film Kamat had ideated the sequel.
When contacted the producer he confirmed the news and said, “Yes, we are extremely happy with the success of Force at the box office. I am keen to start the sequel with John immediately. The story is a completely new adventure, with a new villain, who John will have to go head-to-head with.” That’s not all. They intend to get Vidya Balan opposite John. There are two reasons for it: they made a very good pair in
Salaam-E-Ishq and now they have more at stake so want a bigger name opposite the model-turned-actor. However Shah refused to divulge any details. When asked if they had signed Vidya for the film, this is what he said, “We are still in the process of getting the final draft of the film. The casting is under process. Yes, we have met a couple of people, but it is too early to name any actors as no one, except John, is on-board yet.” Recently another filmmaker who tried to get the sizzling pair – John & Vidya – together was Sanjay Gupta for
Shootout At Wadala, unfortunately his dreams didn’t come true. Even Vipul Shah manages to get them together it will be a delight to watch the brawny dude and brainy lady create some magic onscreen.
